Angela truly realised the depth of that complexity when she set out to document it all.
Angela Florez had just taken on the role of Marketing Director, and it seemed like her predecessor was the only one in the know about how everything operated.
“We tried to create SOPs for the entire customer journey and realized just how messy and complex the system was,” Angela shares. “It took us three months to detangle everything.”

Apps Without Code used Stripe, PayPal, and Kajabi for handling payments, while they turned to ClickFunnels and Kajabi for creating order forms.
These tools and processes were all linked together through Zapier, creating a somewhat fragile connection.
“We had hundreds and hundreds of Zaps that would take information from Stripe, PayPal and Kajabi, put it into HubSpot, and then create workflows” shares Angela.
Prone to damage
When the process hits a snag, tracking down the root of the issue and getting it sorted can end up consuming hours or even days. This not only takes away valuable time but also distracts from the crucial work of expanding the business and catering to customers.
“If something broke, only one person knew how to fix it,” Angela shares. “And if that person was sick or out of the office, then the process stayed broke until they returned.”

In light of the situation, Angela and her team jumped at the chance to sign up for HubSpot Payments as soon as HubSpot made the announcement.
“We talked to our development team to get them onboard. Once they saw our complex processes, they fully understood the need to consolidate everything with HubSpot Payments,” Angela shares.

Angela and her team have found that the ease of creating payment links has truly transformed their workflow. Today, all of the products offered by Apps Without Code are available for purchase online via HubSpot payment links.
“It’s super easy to create the links that people need to pay,” shares Angela. “It opens up a lot of possibilities.”
Apps Without Code has recently added payment links to its sales page, Prospective customers can read the product description and click the CTA to go directly to a checkout page that is hosted directly on the HubSpot CRM Platform.
“The checkout page form looks really good, professional, and reliable. Much better than it did with Kajabi.” Angela shares.

Angela and her team are leveraging the payment object to enhance automation and accelerate their reporting process. When a customer buys a product and completes their payment, it sets off a series of workflows that seamlessly carry on the customer journey automatically without any human intervention.
“When they buy a package, they automatically get access to the app that contains the course content.” Angela shares. “At the same time, the agency team is notified that they need to send out a contract.”
These workflows are a game changer for their sales, marketing, and service teams, freeing them from the burden of tedious time-consuming manual tasks.
“With HubSpot workflows, we can use that time to get more customers and deliver great service.” shares Angela.
